Mike
Stubbs of CJBK Talk Radio and Heather Coghill, Tournament Chair,
drop the puck at the Opening Face Off of the Ceremonial Opening
Game. The Game was played by two Junior Teams captained by
two young girls who love Road Hockey and also have Cystic
Fibrosis. The Tournament Committee is indebted to Mr.
Stubbs for all of his support. |

The
sky was blue and the sun was hot! Seven member teams means that
that there are always fresh legs to keep the games fun! |

Competition was stiff with teams from across London and
surrounding area - Everyone played hard and fair and at the end
of the day, "Team Twink" won the right to the coveted Championship
Place on the Tournament Trophy!

In
between games, there were many silent auction items on which to
bid! Everything from Quizno's Sub Gift Certificates to
Autographed Baseball Cards from the Blue Jays and a
number of items from Don Cherry!
The
Tournament Committee thanks everyone who donated items for the
Silent Auction and everyone who had the winning bids! |

Each year, as the tournament grows in
popularity, we are looking for more people to help organize
and run it. There are plenty of jobs for everyone! From
securing sponsorships and auction items before the
tournament to time-keeping and refereeing at the tournament,
anything you can do is appreciated and takes us one
step closer to a cure.
